Elections for Chamber Board of Directors

The election for the Elburn Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors will take place at the March general membership meeting. Nominations will begin at the February membership luncheon meeting. Members will be voting on the five positions on the board. An overview of the positions and duties are:

President - figure head of Chamber, opens & closes meetings, provides meeting agenda, schedules and meets with the board.

Vice-President of Marketing - constructs Chamber bi-monthly newsletter, promotes Chamber activities and events.

Vice-President of Committees - coordinates activities of the committees and reports to the board of directors.

Secretary - provides the minutes of the meetings, handles mail & correspondence, phone communication & keeper of the records.

Treasurer - provides report of Chamber finances to the members, handles dues and payments to the Chamber, writes checks.

Please attend the February luncheon meeting for nominations and the
March morning meeting for the election.
