The fundraising committee would like to thank all those who came out last Friday, to support the EBS Candle Light Bowl. We had 106 bowlers, 15 non-bowlers, and raised close to $5000 for the league! All this money goes back to the league for equipment upgrades, field improvements, and eventually new batting cages at McNair.

This is my last year running the Candle Light bowl, and I am hoping someone will step up and continue it in the future. Please feel free to contact me, and I would be happy to help walk you through all that needs to be done.

I have had a lot of fun organizing the event, and have been very fortunate to have several very special ladies help me plan and organize the event over the years, without their help, I could never have done it..so a special "Thank You" to this year's committee:

*Sue and Cathy have been on the committee with me since it started, 6 years ago!!

Elburn is a small town, the same business's get asked over and over for donations, and each time, they have always been supportive with their donations and a smile, and for that, I would like to thank the people from Paisano's, Hair Directors, Bob Jass Chevrolet, Leyden Electric, Party Animals, Alice's Place, Sub-Way, Shady Hill and Midwest Window & Supply, for their constant support in the Elburn Community.
