Position: Trophy Coordinator

Description: Gathers pricing information and secures trophies/medals for all teams, all leagues, and all tournaments. Distributes trophies/medals to each teams coach. Works with Treasurer to insure trophy/medal supplier gets paid. T-ball, U8, Instructional, and Minors receive trophies or medallions at the end of the season. Trophy Coordinator should work with each division Commissioner to determine the number of trophies required. The trophies and medallions should be ordered at least 2 weeks prior to the end of the season.

EBS normally purchases medallions and trophies from Johno's Trophies / 1804 E. New York / Aurora, IL / 630-898-2333. The Trophy Delivery Volunteer will pick up and deliver the trophies for you. Just contact them when the trophies are ready. Their email address is listed under "Trophy Delivery" on our website. EBS usually purchases trophies as follows:

• T-ball - T-ball-Each T-ball player receives one gender-neutral participation Trophy. The trophy will not be engraved. Cost is around $2.50 each.
• U8-Each U8 player receives one girls softball participation trophy with engraving. The engraving should say "2004(or current year) Elburn U8". Cost is around $3.50 each.
• Instructional - If there is no Instructional tournament at the end of the season, each Instructional player will receive one large participation medallion. The medallions should be engraved with "2004(or current year) Elburn Instructional". The medallions should include a red, white, and blue neck drape and should cost around $3.00. This should be a larger medallion than the T-ball medallion.

  If there is an Instructional tournament the 1st place team should receive a trophy engraved with "1st Place Elburn Instructional". The 1st place trophy should cost around $6.25. The 2nd place team should receive a trophy engraved with "2nd Place Elburn Instructional". The 2nd place trophy should cost around $6.00. The 3rd place team should receive a trophy engraved with "3rd Place Elburn Instructional". The 3rd place trophy should cost around $5.75. The 4th place team should receive a trophy engraved with "4th Place Elburn Instructional". The 4th place trophy should cost around $4.00. All non-placing teams should receive a participation medallion as described above. If teams from other leagues or towns participate in our tournament, EBS should be reimbursed proportionally from those leagues/teams. For example if 12 teams participate in the tournament and the total trophy/medallion cost is $525, then each teams share will be $43.75. Payment should be made to Elburn Baseball & Softball and mailed to P.O. Box 144, Elburn, IL 60119.

  All trophies or medallions should be boys style.

• Minors-The Minors level always has a tournament at the end of the season. The 1st place team should receive a trophy engraved with "1st Place 2004 Elburn Minors Tournament". The 1st place trophy should cost around $7.00. The 2nd place team should receive a trophy engraved with "2nd Place 2004 Elburn Minors Tournament". The 2nd place trophy should cost around $6.25. The 3rd place team should receive a trophy engraved with "3rd Place 2004 Elburn Minors Tournament". The 3rd place trophy should cost around $6.00. The 4th place team should receive a trophy engraved with 4th Place 2004 Elburn Minors Tournament". The 4th place trophy should cost around $5.75. All non-placing teams should receive a participation trophy engraved with 2004 Elburn Minors Tournament" The trophy should cost around $4.00.

  All trophies should be boys style. If teams from other leagues or towns participate in our tournament EBS should be reimbursed proportionally from the total trophy cost. For example, if 16 teams participate and the total trophy cost for this tournament is $600, then each teams share will be $37.50. Payment should be made to Elburn Baseball & Softball / P.O.
