Elburn Basketball would like to thank the following former Board members for all of their dedication and hard work over the last few years. Elburn Basketball is currently looking for volunteers for the open league board position and various committees. If you are interested, please contact a board member or attend an upcoming board meeting.
Announcements:
- New online registration is coming soon! It should be up and running by Mid-July for Fall registration.
- Elburn Days: Parade float for Elburn Days!! Friday, August 21st kicks off the festivities for Elburn Days Weekend with a parade that runs through town. This year, Elburn Basketball has teamed up with National Bank and Trust with an entry in the parade. Anyone interested in helping construct the float or be in the parade please email us at Elburnbasketball@gmail.com. We are also looking for people to help with the Basketball Booth over Elburn Days weekend. Please email us at Elburnbasketball@gmail.com if interested.
- The Cheer program is now open to girls in 2nd-8th grade. We had a very successful inaugural year along with a summer camp and want to extend this opportunity to the 7th and 8th grade level. Registration for this program will take place in September 2009.
- Uniforms: This year Elburn Basketball will have new “official team” uniforms with sponsors names on the back along with the number, and Elburn logo on front.

Volunteers Needed
Elburn Basketball is a 100% parent volunteer program, with no paid positions and no park district support. A successful season can only be accomplished with the donation of time from our many volunteers and monetary donations from our generous sponsors.
