BASEBALLS ON PARADE is a community art project that celebrates summer, family, and the Village of Elburn. With participation by individuals, local businesses and organizations, painted Baseballs will capture the vibrance of the greater Elburn community while forming numerous points of interests all over town this summer. Oversized concrete baseballs, manufactured by Custom Stone Works in Cortland, IL, will be transformed into creative representations of the area’s unique attributes and fun summer pastimes. This display of imagination will delight and entertain residents and attract visitors from May 1 through August 1. Baseballs will be auctioned off at Elburn Days benefitting scholarships for Kaneland High School graduating seniors and youth baseball/softball organizations. |
